In 1960 the Credit Union moved to its new office on Allen Road and the old farmhouse, that had served the parish for many years, was sold. This year was also the beginning of the annual school paper drives which for many years was an important source of income for the school.
In 1961 we began running school buses for the convenience of our students. The school was holding many fundraisers to help finance the opening of a school library. The Credit Union opened a “Student Savings Program” to help the students learn to save money. Each week a representative from the Credit Union would come to the school for the children to make deposits into their very own accounts.
