Photo Display of the Building of the Church

St. Mary Magdalen Parish began in January of 1926.  Services were held in a school building at the corner of Allen Road and Outer Drive. The Parish grew and the need for a bigger and more permanent building was the goal of the Parish members.  The building would provide a large area to celebrate Mass, four classrooms for school and a place for the religious sisters to stay.

The Parish celebrated the first Mass in the new building in October of 1929. The parish continued to grow and in November of 1955, the building that we worship in today was completed. During the weekends of November 16 and November 23, there will be a pictorial display of the construction of our beautiful church.  Please  stop in the gathering area to see the pictures and history of the construction. As we continue our journey to our 100th Anniversary celebration in October, 2026, we continue to pray for God’s blessing over our Parish family.
